IT IS A FAULT

... when serving, it is considered a fault, when the shuttle:

  • is caught in the net and remains suspended on the top after passing over the net, lands outside of the court is hit by the receiver's partner.
During play, it is considered a fault when the shuttle:
  • lands outside of the court.
  • passes through or under the net.
  • touches any other object or person outside the court.
  • is hit twice in succession by the same player.
  • Touches a player's racket and does not travel towards the opponents court.
During play, it is considered a fault when a player:
  • touches the net or stands with their racket or clothing.
  • invades an opponent's court under the net with the racket so that an opponent is obstructed or distracted.
It is considered a fault if the serve is not executed correctly.
